The moment my friends started speaking to me about the importance

of having a website, I saw the opportunity to share with all my passion

for the contrabass and my quest for a deeper understanding of the instrument

in all of its many facets. The past 15 years of my life have been dedicated

to composing music for the contrabass as a lead melodic voice,

from duet to string orchestra and playing the music with my group the

STAFFORD JAMES PROJECT.

This was also an opportunity for me to pay homage to exceptional people whose

paths have crossed mine thus helping me reach my goals. I hope that you will

find this site informative as well as entertaining - please let me know!
